	The unit allows the use of 15mm screw-in front rods that conform to the industry standard. The Powerbase also offers two lemo 6 accessory ports one Lemo 2 port for a handgrip or other on/off options and an XLR-4 power socket allowing the use of an external12v power source to run the camera and accessories. It also features a BNC connector that can be connected to an incoming video signal which allows the A-minima camera speed to be a slave to the video source and thus eliminate the usual roll bar problems associated with filming monitors and televisions. Powerbase also houses a 5A fuse offering the extra protection needed for numerous electronic accessories. The unit fits snuggly to the bottom of the camera so as not to impede the extreme hand hold-ablity of the camera and sports a standard 3/16th thread for mounting onto a baseplate or quick release plate of a tripod.
