	The Xterà not only introduces some major improvements, it also allows you to use all your existing camera accessories, including magazines and viewfinder. In addition, all existing XTRprods can be easily upgraded to the Xterà level. FEATURES Low power consumption, color video-tap consumes a third of the power that others use. At 200mA, it can run for over a day on the twin batteries. NEW Dual batteries power the camera and accessories. The lower battery feeds camera motor and video-tap while the upper battery feeds accessories. They can be paralleled with no power interruption during replacement. Single-battery operation is also an option. NEW Carbon fiber rod mounted on the central chassis eliminates lens motor torque backlash. NEW Generous junction box (adding two BNC video outputs, two LEMO6’s, a LEMO12 and a LEMO2) dispatches power from the twin batteries to camera, video assist and accessories. Stop/test/start switch on assistant side. NEW HD-like progressive-scan video assist provides full target resolution during film takes – a first in video-taps. Aatoncode VITC insertion to auto-sync rushes with digital recorder files. NEW Half-moon mechanical counter remains visible at a distance, from behind operator's head. In addition, large numbers are clearly visible on assistant display.
