The new CS5.5 Production Premium features a native 64-bit operating system support in After Effects, Premium Pro and Photoshop Extended for smooth editing on HD and higher resolution projects. The Mercury Playback Engine in Premier Pro provides excellent performance on both Windows and Mac, while GPU-accelerated features in Photoshop Extended allow for faster image cropping, color picking and brush treatments.
The included Adobe Premiere Pro lets you edit almost any format, including DV, HDV, RED, DPX, Sony XDCAM, XDCAM 50, XDCAM EX and XDCAM HD, Panasonic P2, DVCPRO HD, AVCHD, AVC-Intra, and DSLR footage. Dynamic Link, a timesaving integration, allows you to adjust assets between After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Encore, eliminating intermediate rendering. The Roto Brush, found in After Effects, isolates moving foreground elements from the background and creates a transparency around them, saving hours of time and work.
Premiere Pro CS5.5 provides for smooth and efficient editing by allowing for use of NLE shortcuts. Independently recorded audio can be easily synced with your video via a dual-system sound support. Media Encoder CS5.5 outputs your work for use on PC's, smartphones, tablets and television, while Flash Professional efficiently creates, tests, bundles, and distributes content across a range of screens and devices.
Create Projects
After Effects' Warp Stabilizer smooths a bumpy camera move, removes jumpiness, and compensates for motion-related unevenness. Photoshop Extended provides vibrant images in 2D and 3D, while its Content-Aware Fill feature removes objects. With Adobe Story, you can also write and create scripts and story lines that easily integrate into CS5.5. The advanced audio-for-video editing in Audition records, edits, mixes, and masters audio, and can be used with OMF and XML to speed up exchange with Avid Pro Tools or other NLEs.
Efficient Collaboration
Roundtrip editing between Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro (or Avid NLEs) makes it possible to work with various NLEs and formats such as AAF, EDL, OMF, and XML. After Effects efficiently sources timecode support in QuickTime, AVI, Broadcast WAV (BWF), DPX, and some variations of MXF. Source timecode and composition frames can both be displayed. After Effects also features a broad range of color lookup tables (LUTs) such as 3DL and CUBE formats, and provides support for 1D LUTs.
