Canon's EF L-series 16-35mm zoom is a high performance, water-resistant, and ultra wide-angle lens. Its improved edge-to-edge image quality meets the strict requirements of professional photography. The 3 high-precision aspherical lens elements (ground, replica and GMo) provide better image quality than the previous model. When shooting at wider apertures, its circular aperture produces a beautiful and natural background blur. Internal focusing, a ring type USM (Ultra Sonic Monitor), and new AF algorithms for fast and quiet autofocusing are also featured.
