The Canon HJ15ex8.5B KRSE-V lens is one of Canon's latest advances in HD portable production lenses, designed to provide additional flexibility in mobile HD shooting. This lens employs Canon’s patented Vari-Angle Prism Image Stabilizer (VAP-IS) technology, ensuring a solid, stable image during handheld shooting involving physical disturbances such as running, walking, moving vehicles, boats, helicopters, etc. The various stabilizing modes allow the user to adjust for his or her specific situation--first, select portable or tripod mode to compensate for either handheld or wind movements, then select H+V or V mode for horizontal and vertical disturbances, or vertical for issues while panning.
The new design and enhanced digital drive relieves physical stress from long durations of shoulder-mounted shooting, providing ultimate smoothness and precision over the lens controls. Dynamic zoom speeds range from 0.5 sec. to over a 5 min. super slow zoom.
