INTERNATIONAL SALES POLICY
To serve our growing international clientele, AbelCine now accepts international orders online, as well as by phone. The following policies apply all transactions to be shipped to a destination outside the US or made with a credit card not issued by a US bank, whether completed online, by phone, or in one of our physical locations.
Some items in our catalog may not be available for sale outside of the United States. We are currently not able to sell products from the following manufacturers internationally: Aaton, Angenieux, Canon, Panasonic, Sony, and Vision Research (i.e. Phantom cameras). We will contact you in the event that your order contains items that we are not authorized to sell overseas.
METHODS OF PAYMENT
We accept the following methods of payment for international transactions.
In most cases, PayPal provides your best option for expedited international order processing. AbelCine takes steps to protect your identity and the security of all orders placed on our site (see our Privacy and Security Policy). We reserve the right to request a direct wire transfer to our bank when it is advisable for the security of your order.
PayPal – AbelCine uses PayPal to process international credit card orders. To make your payment, select this method on the checkout page and complete your transaction through PayPal's service.
Direct Wire Transfer – Your AbelCine sales representative will supply the financial information to complete the wire transfer. Please note that we can only ship merchandise after our bank confirms that the funds have posted to our account. It usually takes two days for funds to be transferred and available to AbelCine.
Credit Card – International credit cards are only accepted when the client is onsite in one of our locations and
provides a copy of a valid photo ID.
If your billing and shipping addresses are different, or if your transaction is over a certain amount your order will automatically be subject to security review. See our Security Statement for detailed information.
Orders must be received by 2:00 EST Monday-Friday to be shipped the same day, subject to availability, payment processing and security check.
Some items are available to purchase online that are not currently in stock. These items will display the time frame within which they normally ship. This is an estimate of how long it will take us to receive the item from the vendor, not how long it will take for you to receive the item. You will be charged for all items, including any that are not in stock, when you submit your order. If your order contains products with different availability, we will contact you to confirm if you want all your items at the same time or in multiple shipments. Additional shipping charges may apply for separate shipments.
Shipping fees are calculated on a combined basis of weight,
value and destination. Some orders are shipped in multiple parcels. Please note
that we are unable to repack items for international shipment to reduce the
cost of the shipment, as this may result in damage to the items.
Final shipping costs may need to be adjusted during order processing. If there is a change in the total shipping cost, you will be contacted for approval before the order is finalized. All international orders will be sent with insurance. This is included in the shipping cost.
All shipments from AbelCine require a signature. We cannot ship your order "no signature required." Please make sure the shipping address you choose will have someone available to sign for the package.
CUSTOMS AND DUTIES
Orders shipped outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. These fees, as well as any additional charges for customs clearance, are the responsibility of the recipient. AbelCine has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. Contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
RECEIVING YOUR ORDER
Upon receipt of your purchase, please check that all items on your packing slip have been accounted for. Carefully unpack and inspect the condition of all equipment, taking care not to damage the manufacturer's original packaging.
Do not fill out the manufacturer's warranty cards or throw away any packaging materials such as boxes, instructions, inserts, bags, etc. until you are completely sure you want to keep the equipment. AbelCine cannot accept merchandise for return with completed warranty cards, or damaged or missing collateral material.
All claims for damaged or missing items must be reported to AbelCine within three (3) business days of receipt of equipment. In the event your package arrives damaged, it is the responsibility of the customer to contact the shipping carrier to inspect the package to assure full refund or replacement.
AbelCine will not be responsible for any consequential or incidental damage resulting from the sale or use of any equipment purchased from us. It is important to read all instruction manuals before using your equipment.
LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
For products shipped internationally, please note that any manufacturer warranty may not be valid; manufacturer service options may not be available; product manuals, instructions and safety warnings may not be in destination country languages; the products (and accompanying materials) may not be designed in accordance with destination country standards, specifications, and labeling requirements; and the products may not conform to destination country voltage and other electrical standards (requiring use of an adapter or converter if appropriate). You are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from AbelCine, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.
AbelCine does not ship to the following countries: Cuba, Iran, Sudan, Syria or North Korea. Additionally, we only ship to countries that are serviced by FedEx International. A list of these countries is available on the FedEx website.
We reserve the right to decline any order if we deem the risk to be too great.
RETURN / EXCHANGE POLICY

If your order is a gift, the package will be marked "Gift," but the cost of the item is still stated on the customs form. Customs authorities require the value of the gift item to be stated directly on the package.
Sales Policy for US-based customers
