By switching the True Match tungsten lamp for daylight quality lamps, it can easily go from nighttime to daytime interiors (lamps reach full color temperature in three minutes). It provides a provide a broad soft and diffuse light, and works best when used in close proximity to the subject--the light is softer and easily controlled via built-in barndoors and detachable louvers. The fixture has a low heat output, so color gels do not burn or fade, and the unit can be turned off and packed away with no cool down period--lamps do not need to be removed from fixture for transport. Its slim profile make it perfect for shooting in tight locations, such as hallways or offices.
The Diva-Lite 401 includes a built-in dimming ballast, 4-Lamp/2-Lamp switching, remote dimming, built-in barndoors, center mount, reflector, louver, and gel frame.
