PAYMENT TERMS

For your security, AbelCine does not store credit card information for online orders.

Sales tax will be charged for all orders shipped to New York, Illinois or California. We cannot accept tax exempt IDs or resale certificates for online customers. Please call to speak with a sales representative if you require assistance with tax issues.

Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalog may be mispriced. If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.

Final shipping costs may need to be adjusted during order processing. If there is a change in the total shipping cost, you will be contacted for approval before the order is finalized. All online orders will be sent with insurance by default. This is included in your shipping cost.


ORDER PROCESSING

If your transaction is over a certain amount, your order will automatically be subject to security review.
If your shipping address is different from your credit cardís billing address, we can only accept payment by PayPal. For our PayPal customers, we can only ship to verified accounts with confirmed addresses. A signature is required for all orders.

Orders must be received by 2:00pm EST Monday-Friday to be shipped the same day, subject to availability, payment processing and security check. Additionally, orders will not be processed during holidays when our locations are closed.

Some items are available to purchase online that are not currently in stock. These items will display the time frame within which they normally ship. This is an estimate of how long it will take us to receive the item from the vendor, not how long it will take for you to receive the item. You will be charged for all items, including any that are not in stock, when you submit your order. If your order contains products with different availability, we will contact you to confirm if you want all your items at the same time or in multiple shipments. Additional shipping charges may apply for separate shipments.


SHIPPING

All shipments from AbelCine require a signature. We cannot ship your order "no signature required." Please make sure the shipping address you choose will have someone available to sign for the package.


RECEIVING YOUR ORDER

Upon receipt of your purchase, please check that all items on your packing slip have been accounted for. Carefully unpack and inspect the condition of all equipment, taking care not to damage the manufacturer's original packaging.

Do not fill out the manufacturer's warranty cards or throw away any packaging materials such as boxes, instructions, inserts, bags, etc. until you are completely sure you want to keep the equipment. AbelCine cannot accept merchandise for return with completed warranty cards, or damaged or missing collateral material.

All claims for damaged or missing items must be reported to AbelCine within three (3) business days of receipt of equipment. In the event your package arrives damaged, it is the responsibility of the customer to contact the shipping carrier to inspect the package to assure full refund or replacement.

AbelCine will not be responsible for any consequential or incidental damage resulting from the sale or use of any equipment purchased from us. It is important to read all instruction manuals before using your equipment.


RETURN / EXCHANGE POLICY

If you are for any reason dissatisfied with your order, you can return it to AbelCine within 30 days of your receipt of the equipment. Before returning any merchandise, call a sales administrator in our NY, IL or LA offices or email orders@abelcine.com with your invoice number and reason for return. You will then receive a Return Authorization number for the return.

While AbelCine makes every effort to inform its customers of the details of the products we carry, it is ultimately the consumerís responsibility to understand the specifications, capabilities and limitations of the products purchased. Failure on the consumerís part to do so does not warrant a no-charge refund or exchange.

Unless defective, a 15% re-stocking fee will be charged on opened box products. Items can be returned or exchanged only if they are in original packaging and delivered to AbelCine in the same new condition as sold with literature, instructions and blank warranty cards intact.

Refunds on returned items will be issued in the same payment form as tenured at the time of purchase. Please allow AbelCine 1-3 days to process refunds for returns.

Items can be returned to the New York, Chicago or Burbank office locations or can be shipped to one of our locations via a pre-paid freight service. Please do not tape or write anything on the item or the original packaging. Doing so will result in a re-stocking fee charge. With the return shipment, please include a copy of the original invoice and a completed RA form. This form is included with your shipment, or you can download the RA Form. Please contact a Sales Administrator for your RA number and write it on the form.

AbelCine is not responsible for personal data or items left in returned merchandise. Defective items may be repaired or exchanged at our discretion for the same model or manufacturerís equivalent model. AbelCine is not responsible for any consequential damage resulting from the sale or use of any merchandise bought from us. We are responsible for the monetary value of the merchandise only.

AbelCine does not accept returns / refunds on the following items:
  • Media
  • Software
  • Hard drives
  • Batteries
  • Computers
  • TV's
  • Items with timers having more that 120 mins of use
  • Special Order Items

RETURN / EXCHANGE REQUIREMENTS

Your original receipt is required for all returns, exchanges and warranty repair services. For cash purchases over $250 and check purchases over $100, your refund will be issued by check from our main office in NY within 14 business days of the return.

If any of the above conditions are not met, AbelCine reserves the right to refuse the return.

No refunds or exchanges will be made on sales after fourteen (30) days of order receipt.


WARRANTIES AND WARRANTY REPAIRS

Most items sold by AbelCine are covered by a manufacturer's warranty. When the item has a manufacturer's warranty, and/or the warranty period has expired, calls for service or repairs should be referred directly to the manufacturer or their authorized service centers.

AbelCine is an Authorized Service Center for Panasonic, Canon, Fujinon, Chrosziel, Heden, Aaton and Carl Zeiss cine lenses. Contact our service department at service@abelcine.com.

Warranty repairs on equipment are to be sent to the manufacturer or authorized repair centers for repair at owners expense after 14 days from purchase. See manufacturers website for locations and conditions of returns for repair.


MANUFACTURERS' REBATES

It is the customerís responsibility to complete any rebate forms and return them to the manufacturer within the specified time limit and conditions of the manufacturers rebate program. It is further the customerís responsibility to carefully read and understand the terms and conditions of such rebate programs including any UPC code requirements before discarding any packaging.

The best way to check the status of your online orders is to e-mail orders@abelcine.com. Please reference your order number in your e-mail so that we will be able to respond to you promptly.
