The Sony AP-1 Assistant Panel duplicates the side display of the camera and all assignable buttons. The AP-1 comes with a 6 ft (2 meter) cable, and bracket for mounting to the camera body. When access to the camera is limited, the AP-1 is capable of triggering remote recording as well as shutter speed, gain, format, and frame rate.
