The Camera Control Unit (CCU) or “Paintbox” is a device that allows remote control of all of the camera’s functions. With the RM-B750 all of the camera menus can be navigated and adjusted remotely. Full VTR controls as well as electronic lens functions such as iris control are also enabled. The RM-B750 has a touch screen interface for ease of use as well as a memory stick slot to save settings. There is a monitor output so that only a single cable run is necessary. Cable runs are available in excess of 150 feet. The RM-B750 works with all professional Sony camera products down to the compact PMW-EX3.
