Overview
The Sony VCT-FSA5 Shoulder Mount Accessory Plate is specifically designed for handheld documentary-style shooting with PMW-F55 & F5 series cameras. It offers a low center of gravity and the ability to adjust balance with a sliding mechanism.
The Shoulder Mount Accessory Plate includes two 15mm rods, two ARRI-style rosettes for compatible accessories and an attachment for the optional Sony VCT-14 quick-release tripod plate. A rubber cushion is included for comfort.
Thanks to its minimalistic design with low optical center and weight balancing mechanism, this shoulder mount/baseplate enables the operator to comfortably shoot with the camera for hours on end. It features a slot down the center for adjusting the camera position front to back in order to properly balance the weight, depending on your lens configuration.
The camera can be displaced front-to-back for balancing purposes when using the optional VCT-FS15 tripod.
Includes (2) 15mm rods which fit in the rail mounts on the front of the accessory plate.
