Teradek's Cube is the world’s first camera-top streaming HD video device. The family includes six encoder models and two matching form-factor decoders. The Cube Encoder streams HD video over WiFi or wired Ethernet. The Cube Encoder creates its own wireless (ad hoc) network, and streams HD video directly to a Cube Decoder, a computer or laptop, a server, or a mobile device such as an iPad with no other networking equipment required. To extended your broadcast range, Cube Encoder can join an infrastructure network by using a wireless router and stream over a LAN or WAN. Experienced network users can use Cube to stream video over the Internet

	Cube’s web interface features a Setup Wizard to simplify configuration. After connecting video and powering-up Cube, create a network, log on to Cube’s web interface, complete the Setup Wizard, and begin streaming video. Cube is ideal for the following applications: -Wireless HD on-set monitoring for TV and film production: Eliminate camera tethering on long dolly moves, running footage, steadicam shots, hand-held operation, jib-arms, and crane shots. -Wireless HD Proxy Recording: RED ONE users can stream and record proxy files to a server for instant dailies and offline editing. -News-gathering using IP for backhaul: Eliminate the costly ENG van by using the Internet backbone to transport video back to the station. -Live event web-casting: Create your own webTV portal for concerts, house of worship, and corporate events. -Professional audio/video installation: Low-cost and high quality HD video distribution for digital signage, large venues, and more. Cube uses the world’s most advanced video compression – H.264 High Profile Level 4.1 and provides Blu-ray video quality. Cube’s end-to-end latency is approximately 1/8-1/2 second. Cube is tiny (about the size of a deck of cards), uses only 2.5W of DC power, and weighs only 7 ounces, and mounts easily to a rail system, cage, hotshoe, or camera baseplate. Cube’s line-of-sight WiFi range is approximately 300 feet when used with a high quality WiFi access point. Cube has been tested extensively with RED One, Arri Alexa, Panavision Genesis, Canon 5Dii, Canon 7D, various handi-cams and more.
