Vocas’ MB-450 mattebox features two 5.65”x5.65” rotatable filter trays and one 4”x5.65” fixed tray. Additionally, there is a rigid compartment in the front end that can hold either a matte or even a fourth filter frame. The MB-450 can be used as clip-on mattebox or on 15mm lightweight rails with an adapter.

Until recently, filtering the Panasonic AG-3DA1 was a challenge. Basically you had to use a 6×6 mattebox with a sliding base plate, or engineer a smaller mattebox to fit the housing for the lenses. Neither option was optimal given the small and compact nature of this camera. Thankfully, Vocas has introduced an adaptor (114mm to AG-3DA1) for their existing MB-450 mattebox.
