The Cross Fire Kit is height-adjustable, and can be mounted onto any DSLR camera with or without battery grips. The baseplate attaches to the tripod plate using the standard tripod plate screws; however, the camera can also be removed from the rig by turning the knob and lifting the camera. The QR plate stays mounted to the camera so the camera can be used with the rig or on its own.
The supplied .8 pitch Zipgear Universal can be cut to length to fit your lens (additional Zipgears can be purchased for your other lenses). The Zipgear meets up with the follow focus gear, allowing you to pull focus.
