The Double Barrel Kit is height-adjustable, and can be mounted onto any DSLR camera with or without battery grips. The baseplate attaches to the tripod plate using the standard tripod plate screws; however, the camera can also be removed from the rig by turning the knob and lifting the camera. The QR plate stays mounted to the camera so the camera can be used with the rig or on its own.
A shoulder pad and 7lb counterweight makes the Double Barrel a fully balanced rig, and can be configured for use on the left or right shoulder. This kit also includes a dual handgrip system, DSLR Handle for shooting low-mode, and a Z-Finder Pro 2.5x. Since the Z-Finder mounting frame sits above the LCD and does not attach to your camera, it can be quickly removed by snapping it off the frame.
The supplied .8 pitch Zipgear Universal can be cut to length to fit your lens (the Double Barrel Kit includes 4 Zipgears--additional Zipgears can be purchased for your other lenses). The Zipgear meets up with the follow focus gear, allowing you to pull focus.
