Canon C300 Menu Simulator and Other Resources

C300 Menu Simulator

Canon has posted a menu simulator for their C300 camera, which allows you to navigate the menu system of the C300 and also locate the different buttons on the camera. This is a fantastic tool for learning the C300 before actually getting your hands on it.

Camera simulators are becoming more popular, with the Arri ALEXA simulator leading the pack and the Sony F65 iPad app just released this year. I'm really glad these tools exist and encourage you all to check them out and share your thoughts in the comments section below.

Canon also has some great resources on their site for the C300 including a white paper and a couple articles from theC47.com's Jem Schofield - one on C-Log and one on C300 Data Management.

Thanks to Ben Cain at NegativeSpaces.com for finding this. Make sure to check out his blog for more great information on digital cinematography.
