We recently covered Canon's big pre-NAB announcement of the C300 Mark II, and today at the show I was able to stop by their booth for a closer look.
This impressive camera has several great, new features as well as an ergonomic design. In order to record 4K internally, Canon is introducing a new XF-AVC codec, which can record 4K up to 30 fps, and a special 2K crop mode allows up to 120 fps. The camera also features a dual pixel autofocus, covering up to 80% of the viewable image area with an adjustable focus box. Additionally, the newly announced Canon Log 2 allows you to get up to 15 stops of dynamic range.
