First up is a new rotating stage for their popular Misfit Atom lightweight mattebox called Clash. It allows for standard 138mm round filters, such as polarizers (often called "rotapolas"), and provides 120 degrees of rotation via a cleverly integrated lever on the side. It will be available with a polarizer, or without if you already have one.
Bright Tangerine's versatile lens supports are all now shipping and available in three versions based on the rod setup being used: 15mm studio (known as Joyce), 19mm studio (Marr), or 15mm lightweight (Morrissey – hmm, I'm sensing a theme).
A new product category for Bright Tangerine this year will be cages, and their first is for Canon's C200. It features a top and bottom plate, with a top handle mounted on a sliding dovetail for balancing rigs based on configuration (the bottom plate slides fore and aft as well). The cage also features side "ribs" and provides numerous 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded mounting points throughout. It's shown, in the video above, with a monitor mounted on a handy quick release mechanism connected to their sturdy Titan Arm.
Both the Clash and new C200 cage are in the late prototyping stage and are expected to ship in roughly 6-8 weeks. Be sure to check out the video above for more details.
