At the other end of the focal length spectrum, the 135mm T2.1 is the longest lens Zeiss has released in the CP.2 range. Slightly larger than the rest of the series, the 135mm is still relatively lightweight at 3.52 pounds. We'll have this lens at NAB, so make sure to stop by our booth (C8932) to get some hands on time! In keeping with the rest of the CP.2 line, the 15mm and 135mm feature 14 aperture blades and geared focus and iris rings with long rotations. The CP.2 lenses are all color matched and are interchangeable between PL, EF, F, MFT and E mounts, offering a truly versatile lens set for any cinematographer. The 15mm T2.9 and 135mm T2.1 are expected to ship in the fourth quarter of 2012 with a list price of $5,700. You can find additional information in the official press release.
