New App for RED EPIC Menus

IMG_5809

Whether you're a camera assistant or a rental house equipment manager, you're often expected to know the menu system of various cameras. Even if you had access to every camera on the market, it can be very time consuming to set up a camera just to remind yourself where a specific setting is.

While menu simulators are not a new concept (be sure to check out the simulators for the Arri ALEXA, Arri AMIRA, Canon C300, Canon C500 and Sony F5/F55), there has never been a comprehensive menu simulator for the RED EPIC or SCARLET. Enter RED's very own Kris Prygrocki, who earlier this month released Donna, a free iOS app that faithfully recreates all of the RED menus. An Android version is in the works, but if you're using an iOS device, Donna is definitely a must have. Download Donna now in the iOS App Store
