I'm here at the 16x9 booth today speaking with James Lee who has some nice updates to Movcam's wireless system to show us. The system features three-channel focus, iris and zoom ("FIZ") control and a hand unit with a touch screen and storable lens mappings. Operating either hard-wired or on the 2.4GHz band, the unit features settable focus points and even vibrates when a focus point is reached.

Movcam has released its Dual-Axis Wireless Control System, and what strikes you right away is its modular design and ease of use. The SCU-1 handset features a small LCD screen, which instantly gives the status of critical parameters such as channel and signal strength. Calibrating motors is a one-touch operation.
