Cameo VEObob Kit with Power & RS232 Cables

This Cameo VEObob Kit with Power & RS232 Cables includes the following items:

• (1) VEObob Breakout Box for Phantom VEO (CAM-081-100)
• (2) VEObob RS232 Jumper - 12.5" (CAM-081-140)
• (2) VEObob Power Jumper - 12" (CAM-081-130)

NOTE: Recommended for use with (2) Cameo Cheese Plate for Phantom VEO (CAM-077-110), included in the Cameo Cine Essential Kit for Phantom VEO (CAM-077-CEK1); CAM-077-110 and CAM-077-CEK1 sold separately.

The Cameo VEObob Breakout Box provides hot swap capability between dual power inputs (2x XLR-4) for the Phantom VEO camera. The VEObob gives priority to the power supply (connected to DC IN) over your battery (connected to BATT IN) and provides three accessory power outputs (2x LEMO-2, 1x Fischer-3 R/S). It also replicates a remote port, which is not present on the camera itself, to enable the connection of a PCU or VRI Bluetooth dongle (Fischer-5). The VEObob passes power, trigger, and serial control to the camera's Power and Capture ports.

Input Voltage

The VEObob passes through the input voltage to all outputs unchanged. Therefore, the limitations on input voltage are defined by the limitations of the connected devices. A Phantom VEO camera can accept between 12V and 30V. 

Fuses

The accessory outputs (2x LEMO-2, 1x Fischer-3) are rated at 2A each. Each output has a self-resetting 2A fuse protecting it. 

In addition, the VEObob includes a master 10A fuse. This fuse is not self-resetting. One replacement fuse is supplied with the VEObob.

Mounting

The VEObob can mount to the side of your Phantom VEO camera via top or bottom Cameo cheese plates, or you can mount it onto the top of the camera with one top cheese plate.

NOTE: The VEObob is designed to safely provide up to 10A of power for a VEO camera and connected accessories. Exceeding 10A will blow an internal fuse. Also, remember that care should be taken so that the voltage provided is appropriate for all connected accessories.

There are no user serviceable parts in this device. Do not get wet or expose to extreme temperatures.

The Cameo VEObob RS232 Jumper Cable - 12.5" is designed to pass serial control from the Cameo VeoBob Breakout Box to your Phantom VEO camera. Use with the Cameo VEObob Breakout Box and the Cameo VEObob Power Jumper Cable (both sold separately) to pass power, trigger, and serial control to your Phantom VEO camera.

This cable is 12.5" in length, measured from 6-pin Fischer connector to 7-pin Fischer connector.

The Cameo VEObob Power Jumper Cable - 12" is designed to pass power and trigger command from the VEObob to your Phantom VEO camera. Use with the Cameo VEObob Breakout Box and the Cameo VEObob RS232 Jumper Cable (both sold separately) to pass power, trigger, and serial control to your Phantom VEO camera.

This cable is 12" in length, measured from 12-pin Fischer connector to 6-pin Fischer connector.
