Wooden Camera ARRI LPL Mount for Sony VENICE Cameras

The Wooden Camera ARRI LPL Mount for Sony VENICE Cameras allows ARRI LPL Signature Prime Lenses to be used on Sony VENICE, and connects lens interface contacts directly to the camera. According to ARRI, a Q1 2019 update to the Signature Primes will enable Cooke /i data output. At that time, the Sony Venice will be able to read the metadata via Wooden Camera's pogo interface. An LPL Sensor Cap is included to prevent dust from entering the sensor area when a lens is not attached.

Wooden Camera sets the flange focus in the factory using collimation tools. The user only needs to adjust the shims if the camera is out of calibration. The adapter is shimmable by loosening six socket cap screws around the collar area, separating the two sections, and adding color coded shims (sold separately) of various thickness. Back focus should be checked using collimation tools or a wide lens focused to infinity.

NOTE: ARRI's LPL to PL Adapter is also compatible, allowing easy changes from standard PL lenses to LPL lenses. The LPL Mount is passive and does not communicate lens data to the camera.
