The cPRO Hand Unit is a feature-rich workhorse offering exceptional wireless control with an ergonomically balanced design. Introducing innovative features inspired by professionals, cPRO supports the needs of the most demanding focus puller.

Not only has cmotion re-designed the focus knob with non-slip, concave fingertip molding and mechanical hard stops, the unique “PANIC” button allows the focus puller to override mechanical stops on the fly. Whether shooting a slate or following a subject that misses their mark, cPRO prevents limits from interfering with necessary operation.

The intuitive thumb wheel is positioned beneath the touch display to provide quick and easy access to the cPRO’s extensive menu settings, even while wearing gloves. In addition, the thumb wheel can be assigned as a fully functional 4th axis controller.

The illuminated marker ring, marker strip, user buttons, and zoom position LED display ensure cPRO provides clear information and feedback in virtually any shooting environment. Whether using existing accessories like the cstrap (included) or cspider (sold separately), or specially developed accessories like the perfectly balanced monitor bracket and quick release v-lock mount (not included), the cPRO hand unit is ready for a new era in lens control.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All main cPRO components use cmotion's red-coded radio module (in comparison to ARRI's white-coded radio). White and red-coded radio modules are not compatible (e.g., a cPRO hand unit and ARRI cforce mini RF motor are not wirelessly comptible).  

Mechanically, the cPRO Motor is based on the popular cforce Mini. However, this motor benefits from an integrated cmotion Red RF module and features an optimized motor and gearbox for increased speed and reaction time. Incorporating the wireless module into the motor eliminates the need for an extra unit on the camera. This reduces weight, cable clutter, and setup time. Two buttons on the motor enable channel selection (14 channels), scale settings, motor calibration and system information.

Using the LBUS interface, the cPRO motor configuration can be expanded with up to (2) additional cforce motors, while the new CAM connector (LEMO 5+2-pin) provides a versatile interface for power supply, run/stop control, camera feedback¹, tally¹, and camera control² for popular cameras (including ARRI, RED, Sony, Canon, Blackmagic Design, and Panavision).
