The Kino Flo Diva-Lite 401 is a professional light fixture with full-range dimming, built-in barndoors, and remote control features. The light fixture offers 120V AC power, is flicker-free, portable, and energy efficient at only 2.16 Amps. Switch from daytime to nighttime interiors easily with optional True Match Tungsten for daylight quality light.

The nature of this light is suitable for both Television or Film Documentary shoots. It produces a broad, soft, and diffused light beam. Also function well in news broadcast rooms. Their compact form factor and rugged nature make them ideal for travel to locations worldwide.

The drop off of this light beam is similar to the light off a bounce card. It is effective in close proximity to your subject and, since it has a low heat output generated, you do not need to worry about melting the make-up off your interviewer and his or her guest.

When you are on location with the Diva-Lite 401 light fixture, you can achieve full color temperature within 3 minutes. This will shorten your wait time during changes and setups. Simply turn power off and pack it when you are done. The fixture does not require a cool down period. In fact, you can retain the lamp inside the fixture during transport or use the convenuent lamp case that comes with this kit.

You can select to turn on only 2 or all 4 of the lamps. Turning off 2 lamps equals a one f-stop reduction in light output, without color shift. In the 2 lamp position, only the 2 center lamps are illuminated.

Dimming is possible via the Manual Dimming Control. Turn it to full when striking the lamps. You can dim them to the desired settings within 3-5 minutes of operation. Utilize the input jack on the ballast for an optional Remote Dimmer (DIM-5, sold separately).

Your color gels will not burn or fade, granting you more time with your light modifiers, due to the cool temperatures the bulb produces.

Since this lamp accepts 120V AC, you can plug it into any U.S. household outlet to power it. 

The slim profile of this fixture allows you to shoot in hallways, small offices, narrow spaces and other confined places. Also, the lightweight size of the Diva-Lite 401 means you can mount it on grip arms, if you prefer, instead of a light stand. Utilize the center mount on your compatible light stand or C-Stand then rotate the light fixture for vertical or horizontal axes.

There are 2x mounting options available on this light fixture. You can use either the 5/8" Baby Receiver to place it on a light stand or the Base Mounting Plate.

Full spectrum CRI 95 lamps are available in 3200K or 5500K. Add optional honeycomb louvers with 90° or 60° light control.

The 4Bank Full Flozier is a full-stop diffusion fabric that secures around the front and barndoors of your Diva-Lite 401 for a softer and diffused light beam.

The KAS-CL6 6-Lamp Carry Case will hold up to (6) 55W compact fluorescent tubes. It features a foam interior with protective foam slots to position your bulbs for safe travel. 

Case is manufactured from polypropylene plastic. 

The KAS-DF-C Travel Case safely houses the Diva-Lite fixture and basic acessories for easy transport.
