Hive Bee 50-C Open Face Omni-Color LED Light

Hive Bee 50-C Omni-Color LED Light is the smallest in the Hive Lighting LED family at only 1.5 lb and 5" long. It uses 40W of power to produce light output that is comparable to a 300W incandescent light. With multiple mount points on its 5" body, this light is ideal for rigging in tight spaces for highlights, as a practical light, or on set or location where you need an adjustable light source.

Bee 50-C features Hive's Perfect S.H.O.T. system and omni-color LED technology for complete control over a full spectrum of light. 

With S.H.O.T. you can adjust:

• Saturation
• Hue
• Output
• Color Temperature

Bee 50-C will run on battery or universal wall power so you can adjust to the varying light situations you find on location or in studio. With S.H.O.T. controls you can create millions of color combinations. Access these controls either on your light fixture or using the Free Hive app for Android or remotely via DMX. A removable antenna for wireless DMX control is included on the rear of the light fixture, along with a menu display and connectors.

Omni-Color Technology

This Hive Lighting LED features both secondary and tertiary color LEDs in Red, Amber, Lime, Cyan, and Saphire. This 5 Color Chip combination produces a complete and even spectrum of color when compared to the more traditional RGBW. A proprietary algorithm combines the varied colors into a brilliant, white-balanced light with CRI 98, plus millions of saturated color combinations for you to select. While traditional color changing LEDs use only (3) base colors or (2) "white" LEDs, the Hive LEDs offer a total of (5) for higher color quality and far greater control than competing Bi-Color or RGB LEDs.

Optional Accessories

The 22° Spot Parabolic Reflector on the Bee 50-C can be modified with an optional 5" 3-Lens Set (Medium, Wide, Super Wide). The barn door ears on this light fixture will accept your 5" (127mm) accessories, including your third-party barn doors. The light will also accept speed rings.

Remove the 22 Degree Spot Parabolic Reflector and you can transform your Bee 50-C into a 180 Degree Flood with a 4" (100mm) diameter that will accept all Profoto Accessories and Adapters, plus a variety of other third-party light modifiers.

Hive Lighting's SHOT App allows you to adjust the Saturation, Hue, Output, and color Temperature of the Bee 50-C™ to create the perfect lighting for any shot. You can assign scenes with programmed color saved to the Bee 50-C™ lights themselves or in the SHOT App's memory, make fine adjustments, or quickly change from daylight to candlelight.

Hive SHOT provides you complete control over Bee 50-C™ lights remotely via bluetooth. Up to (8) Hive LED lights can be controlled individually, or grouped together to create limitless lighting possibilities.
