The Aputure Light Storm C300d LED Light Kit - Gold Mount features an advanced cooling system, portable design, and the brightest output in the Light Storm series. The C300d boasts an impressive 48,000 lux output at 1.6' (0.5m) with its included reflector, and can reach an incredible 142,000 lux with Aputure's optional fresnel mount (and camera settings set to f/36, 1/200 shutter, and ISO 800). This performance is roughly equivalent to that of a traditional 2K tungsten or 400W HMI fixture.

The LS C300d features natural looking 5500K daylight color, a CRI rating of 95+, and a 96+ TLCI rating. Its extremely precise color accuracy makies it ideal for broadcast video, photography, television production, and studio filmmaking.

The LS C300d features an intelligent temperature control system consisting of smart fans with advanced internal thermometers, which vary their speeds based on the system's temperature. Even at maximum speed, these fans are very quiet and prevent the light from becoming too hot (eliminating the need for grip gloves).

The easy-to-use and intuitive wired control unit allows the user to change things like brightness, remote channels, and fan speeds. As the a control box is separated from the light's power ballast, top weight is greatly reduced for maximum portability. Using 2.4G FSK technology, the LS C300d can be adjusted in brightness wirelessly using the included remote, up to 150m away.

The LS C300d accepts either AC or DC battery power. The user can mount (2) Anton/Bauer Gold Mount batteries, eliminating the need for a generator on location shoots.

NOTE: To ensure optimal performance, Aputure recommends ≥190Wh batteries with a 12A working output current.

The LS C300d weighs just 4.6 lb (2.1 kg), almost 75% less than the average 2000W tungsten fixture. The LS C300d also simplifies the once-complicated and heavy process of using light shaping accessories, making it possible to modify your light using just one hand. The LS C300d also utilizes the universal mount design, accepting a wide range of optional accessories, including (but certainly not limited to) a Fresnel, Light Dome, and Space Light attachment (sold separately).

Featuring an aircraft-grade aluminum body, the LS C300d is both tough and durable, engineered with 100 fabrication procedures, including extrusion, cutting, trimming, sandblasting, oxidation, laser engraving, and more. This comprehensive and elaborate production process makes the LS C300d design sleek, yet robust.

The LS C300d is shipped in a portable canvas bag that not only protects the light, but also keeps all of its components organized.

NOTE: To meet the long-distance shooting requirement, a 20' power extension cable is available for purchase (the factory cable measures 6' in length).
