SmallRig 2209 Cage for Atomos Ninja V

The SmallRig Cage for Atomos Ninja V was co-designed with Atomos to provide an additional protective exo-skeleton for the Ninja V monitor, with a wide range of industry standard accessory mounting points. The cage attaches to the monitor via a 1/4"-20 screw on the top and two M3 screws on the left side. The cage features multiple 1/4"-20, 3/8"-16 threads across the top and bottom, and an ARRI locating pin mounting point on the base.

NATO rails are also provided on both top and bottom faces to enable use of a range of SmallRig mounts (such as the SmallRig Ball Head Magic Arm 2071 or the 2072 for quick release). The cage includes a single "universal" HDMI cable clamp (if required, the use of a second SmallRig HDMI Cable Clamp 1693 is supported; attaches to the left face to protect the HDMI cable and port).

For backwards compatibility with Atomos Master Caddy II, the cage also features Drive locks that adapt standard 2.5" drives to the cage's form factor. Raised attachment points on both the top and bottom of the cage allow use of neck straps, and accommodate the Atomos Ninja V Sun Hood frame.

NOTE: This cage is compatible with the original Atomos Ninja V Sun Hood. The Sun hood frame needs to be fitted to the monitor before attaching the cage, and can remain in place to provide additional protection (folding sun hoods can be easily removed).
