Zacuto EVA1 EVF Recoil Pro

The shoulder-mounted Zacuto EVA1 EVF Recoil Pro for your Panasonic AU-EVA1 camera includes the Zacuto VCT Pro baseplate and the EVA1 Top plate. The EVA1 Top Plate has a built in Z-Rail perfect for adding the Zacuto Top Handle or Recoil Handle. Or if desired, you can reattach your Panasonic camera Handle to the plate. Our EVA1 Zgrip Trigger positions camera control at a comfortable, convenient handgrip. The Top Handle with 15mm rod lock allows you to easily mount an EVF with the Axis Mini.

This is a Next Generation Recoil rig designed for optimal balance and comfort when shoulder mounted or on a tripod. With lenses and cameras being similar weights, the balance point is where the lens meets the camera body. In a Recoil rig, the balance point needs to be directly over your shoulder which puts the camera behind you. This requires focus, monitoring and camera controls to be relocated forward, creating a lighter and shorter rig.

Includes:

VCT Pro – this baseplate has a sliding top plate for quickly removing the camera from the rig or fast len changes, a built-in, curved shoulder pad, a v-wedge tripod connector (with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screw option). It features removable and extendable 6.5" iris rods and rows of 1/4"-20 screw holes along the sides for accessories. It features quick release 15mm rod connections in the rear. The recessed rod mount offers maximum accessory capable space under your camera lens. 

EVA1 Zgrip Trigger - this articulating handgrip with M6 rosette incorporates our custom EVA1 handgrip adaptor to relocate the camera grip. It provides full articulation via lever. It may require a LANC extension cable. Trigger on/off control, lens aperture control, waveform, 1:1 zoom, zebras and more.

EVA1 Top plate - Top Plate for your EVA1 includes a built in Z-Rail, whichi is ideal for adding your Zacuto Top Handle or Recoil Handle. Or if desired, you can reattach your Panasonic camera Handle to the plate. The top plate has a multitude of 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screw holes for mounting various accessories. At the back of the plate is a 15mm rod port for a Zamerican arm or other 15mm accessory. It is also ideal for relocating your Panasonic LCD on an optional articulating arm. If you need to attach top rods to your rig, you can add optional 15mm Z-Locks to the top plate for top rods.

Top Handle with 15mm Rod Lock - This slim Top Handle has multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screw holes for mounting various accessories. The 15mm Rod Lock gives a side facing rod port for mounting the Axis Mini or a Zamerican arm.

Zacuto Axis Mini

The Zacuto Axis Mini is designed to attach to the top of your camera set up, leaves plenty of room at the lens for focusing, and will work with a wide range of lenses. It can be adjusted with one hand while the camera rig is on your shoulder. The Axis Mini has extensive articulation for use with a variety of cameras, both shoulder mounted or in tripod operating position.

The Axis Mini attaches to your rig via a 15mm rod port at the top of a kit positioned perpendicular to your camera lens. Slide the Axis Mini into the 15mm rod port and clamp into place. The Axis Mini attaches to the EVF via a secure rosette mount.

The Axis Mini has three red tension levers that are controlled independently with 360 degree motion. Release all three levers to completely reposition the mount or release just one to make single segment adjustments. You can dial in the exact amount of tension needed at each lever to adjust on the fly. 

NOTE: If you are left eye shooter an additional extension is required (not included).

Zacuto Gratical HD Electronic Viewfinder

The Zacuto Gratical HD Electronic Viewfinder supports high pixel density with unparalleled resolution, true blacks, gamma and contrast range. The Gratical HD has 5.4 million pixels on a 0.61" diagonal screen no bigger than the size of your thumbnail.

Features (2) HDMI and (2) SDI ports with cross conversion from HDMI to SDI. Weather resistant covers prevent moisture or debris from getting in open ports. 

The internal field of view delivers a large image, but not such that the eye has to roam to see the entire image at once. It features a built-in -1 to +4 diopter range and Zacuto’s latest anti-fog coating formula. An auto-closing eyecup door is designed to automatically prevent sun damage without any action by the operator.

Mount the Gratical HD via a 1/4"-20 rosette on the side, or a 1/4"-20 screw hole in the bottom.
