Overview
This one-day Blackmagic Cinema Workshop incorporates the URSA Mini, Blackmagic Cinema Camera (BMCC), Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera (BMPCC), and the Blackmagic Production Camera 4K.
We will take you through both the tech & post sides of the URSA Mini, BMCC, BMPCC and 4K. Sensor science, lens mounts, recording options, ports and post workflows will all be covered so that you are comfortable with all of the options that each camera provides. Best practices to get the most out of your image will be covered as well as demos of post in Resolve, Final Cut Pro and Premiere Pro.
Additionally, we will cover rigging the cameras, audio recording solutions, monitoring and lenses & adapters. This workshop will be focused on Blackmagic’s cameras, but the information will largely be applicable to anyone shooting. There will be a hands on class exercise focused on working with the cameras in both documentary and narrative scenarios.
