In this class, participants will learn the ins and outs of building a DIT cart, with a focus on how to set up for remote production.This class will cover all the components that go into a DIT cart, including hardware, software, connectivity, and signal flow. Attendees will learn about each item on the cart and its function. Emphasis will be placed on how to connect to a camera though wired and wireless options, so that DITs can work safely and remotely on set. 

This class and all of its materials will be delivered on the Smashcut platform. Smashcut is an online learning environment, designed especially for media education, that offers robust collaborative instruction with media sharing capabilities, contextual feedback on student work, and broadcast-quality asychronous video lectures. Once students have registered for this course, they will be granted access to Smashcut.

This live stream class will include plenty of time for discussion and questions throughout.
