Overview
The Zeiss Cine Lens Certification, lead by Zeiss Service Trainer, Simon Sommer and AbelCine Lens Technician, Casey Ehalt, is geared towards Sales Reps and Rental Technicians who wish to gain more knowledge about Zeiss Lenses.
There are two levels of certification that are available.
Level One is for those who are interested in learning more about lenses and their basic maintenance. There is also a basic overview of the technology used to evaluate and repair lenses.
If you are taking Level One DO NOT take Level Two, because it will be repetitive. Take one or the other. Attending the Level One course is not a prerequisite to taking Level Two. It is highly recommended that a course is chosen based on the student’s current level of experience. Level Two goes more in-depth than Level One.
See course topics for each Level for more details.
