Overview
The Panasonic AU-XPD1P expressP2 Drive features (1) card slot, compatible with expressP2, standard P2 and microP2 memory cards (with the use of the AJ-P2AD1 microP2 adapter; not included). This reader is equipped with (2) USB 3.0 Type B interfaces, one for fast data transfer and the other for line power via computer, eliminating the need for an external power adapter (however, an AC Adapter is provided for use with computer systems lacking sufficient USB ports).
The USB 3.0 interface will facilitate rapid offload of material from the expressP2 card at speeds up to 2.4Gbps, or up to 1.2Gbps for standard ‘F’ series P2 cards. This improved performance makes the AU-XPD1 a faster alternative than the USB 2.0 AJ-PCD2 P2 card drive. The AU-XPD1P is compatible with Windows 8.1, 8, 7 and MAC OSX 10.7, 10.8, 10.9 operating systems, and offers a secure Content Protection System (CPS).
