Overview
The ARRI QR-HD1 Quick Release HD Baseplate (Basic Unit) provides mounting flexibility without compromising stability via its unique attachment mechanism and centering adjustment that compensates for variations in camera bases to optical axis measurements.
This locking, quick-release camera baseplate accepts the optional ARRI WA-1 Wedge Adapter (or comparable ENG camera baseplates) with adjustable tension for a secure fit via a knurled knob on the rear of the plate. It enables attachment of an ARRI bridge plate via ventral 3/8"-16 threads.
A rear clamp collar post is adjustable between 1.5 to 2.0 mm which will ensure a solid attachment. It's a stronger attachment than you would receive with a common spring-tension system.
You can adapt the ARRI QR-HD1 plate to either standard 15mm or 19mm rods.
