There is a hole that passes all the way through the motor (for the mounting rod), and a rosette is secured in place of the rod. This allows the motor to be used on either side without the difficulty of changing the bracket setup.</p> <p>The PAM (Preston Adjustable Mount) keeps the motor at a right angle to the lens at all times. PAM is positive locking, every 10° to the lens over 360°. The mount is also adjustable vertically relative to the lens by 5&quot;. Attaches to standard 19mm iris rods. PAM is quick and easy to use, and the motor mount can stay built even when not in use. Best of all, the PAM weighs just 3.4 ounces (96.38g)...less than Preston’s current swing arm.
