The SONY PDW-F800 XDCAM camcorder is equipped with a newly developed “Power HAD FX” progressive 3x CCD image block which capture full raster 1920 x 1080. The PDW-F800 records to XDCAM disks at data rates up to 50Mbps in 4:2:2, and provides multi-format recording flexibility including 1080i, 720P and SD, with HD/SD conversion and cross conversion between 1080i and 720P.
