The Zwiss Plate features two sets of 15mm rod holes spaced 60mm apart, allowing vertical mounting onto 15mm rods. The top of the plate also accommodates a second set of 15mm rods for extending the rig. Rods are tightened and locked down with red levers. The plate also has several ¼ 20” and 3/8 16” holes for mounting other accessories.
This plate was designed for mounting a variety of accessories, wireless receivers, brick style batteries (3-stud and V-mount) and battery plates. Batteries and battery plates can then double as a counterbalance, and Z-Lite weights can be added if more weight is required.
The Zwiss plate can also be used with Zamerican arms for mounting lights, monitors, and audio recorders, as well as the Ki Pro Mini.
