Sachtler is pulling the covers off their latest tripod, the flowtech 75. This model aims to be the fastest tripod you'll operate by incorporating a number of clever innovations.
The two-stage design borrows concepts from other models in the Sachtler lineup, such as single locking levers from the Speed Lock series, and the spreader-less operation of the telescoping tube tripod. However, Sachtler has taken aim at improving each of these features in an effort to make them even more convenient and speedy.
The 75mm bowl tripod supports up to 44 pounds with improved torsional stability thanks to ditching the traditional tube-based leg assembly for a custom carbon fiber leg design. This, combined with its light weight, make the flowtech 75 a great choice for quality fluid heads like the Sachtler FSB 8. It makes a great companion for cameras like the Sony FS5 or Canon C200.
