Cinema Optics

We provide consultation for projects and clients of any level, understanding their desired aesthetic, and recommending the best lenses for the job. Focal length, T-stop, optical characteristics, and form factor are all taken into consideration.

We are factory-certified to perform deep optical service and calibration for most cinema lenses, and we have the tools in-house to properly diagnose, calibrate, and repair lenses on-site.

Our Rental inventory includes a wide range of cinema optics, including vintage primes with unique flares, full frame and anamorphic lenses, and zoom lenses with every focal range. We can adapt lenses for use in a multi-cam production or live event and can recommend a range of lenses for any need.

We’re proud to offer lenses from some of the top manufacturers, including Angenieux, ARRI, Canon, Cooke, Fujinon, Sigma, Sony, TRIBE7, and ZEISS, among others.

We offer workshops to learn everything you need to know about evaluating and maintaining your lens fleet. We cover basic and advanced servicing, as well as the calibration equipment and tools used in the repair and upkeep of optics. We can also create custom workshops around a particular lens line or topic.

Our MTF and related optical test equipment is used regularly by our service department, leading with our state-of-the-art ZEISS calibration devices. All ZEISS optical equipment is used regularly in lab and industrial production control environments at ZEISS headquarters in Oberkochen, Germany.
