ARRI Focus Lever (Speed Crank)

The ARRI Focus Lever or Speed Crank is an L-shaped handle for fast focus pulls. Some people call this a speed handle or a focus crank or even a focusing crank. The function of this lever is to modify a follow focus unit to allow for focus cranking. It attaches to the follow focus' knob.

This particular Focus Lever with a round knob is compatible with ARRI's follow focus line: LFF-1, FF-3, FF-4, and FF5-HD. It was designed to suit small diameter lens barrels and the classic ARRI studio Follow Focus FF-4. Pair this lever with a variety of ARRI cine-style camera accessories.

ARRI constructed this Focus Lever with a longer arm to ensure the best gear positioning possible with HD lenses. It also features a lower gear ratio which is suited to smaller diameter lenses which may have compressed focus scales. It can also accommodate video zoom lenses.

You are given the option of a right or a left focus knob so you can access the lens on either camera side. The Left Focus Knob can be used on either camera left or camera right.
