Overview
The Sony CBK-55BK Documentary Mount Dock, designed for your Sony PMW-F5 or PMW-F55, transforms your camcorder into into a run-and-gun ENG and Documentary shoulder-mounted camera. You can return your camera to a traditional Super 35mm camera when that's what the job requires. No tools required to attach your camera into the quick docking system. Simply slide the camera into the shoulder Mount Dock.
White balance, gain, and shutter controls are right where muscle memory tells you they should be located. Inputs and outputs, including balanced XLR audio, headphone monitoring, and wireless audio receiver are now positioned exactly where you need them. The padded shoulder arch adjusts fore and aft to balance with a large range of lenses. The Shoulder Mount Dock boasts VCT-14 adaptability so you can lock your camera onto an optional VCT-14-style tripod.

This Dock also includes an angled Headphone Plug Adaptor, a Handle with microphone holder (to mount above your lens), and it supports wireless audio with an audio I/O in the rear of the Dock.
In combination with optional Sony B4 lens adaptors and Center Scan mode, the F55 and F5 deliver the same lens compatibility, along with the same angles of view, ergonomics, and operating comfort as Sony's iconic ENG camcorders.
