For location scouts, cinematographers or virtual production teams, PortalCam captures photorealistic digital images of spaces for 3D modeling to assist with pre-visualization or visual effects. It combines the use of 360-degree cameras and LiDAR technology to create accurate spatial relationships from intimate interiors to expansive street views.

PortalCam uses dual fisheye cameras to capture every angle, while dual front cameras preserve fine detail down to readable text. It then uses proprietary algorithms and onboard processing to fuse all sensors into spatial models that scale without losing detail.

PortalCam allows you to capture your surroundings while walking naturally and monitor the results using its LCC Scan app. 3D models are generated with automatic processing in LCC Studio. Then you can edit, share and integrate LCC models with existing workflows.
