Wooden Camera RED KOMODO Accessory Kit (Pro, Gold Mount)

The Wooden Camera RED KOMODO Accessory Kit (Pro, Gold Mount) includes the LW 15mm Baseplate, Complete Top Mount Kit, Battery Slide Pro Gold Mount, and (2) 15mm Rods (12").

The LW 15mm Baseplate (RED KOMODO) provides 15mm lightweight rod openings at the correct distance to the center of the lens. ARRI standard, M6 rosettes are on both sides along with 1/4"-20 threaded holes. A 3/8"-16 ARRI accessory mount is also available on camera right side. The baseplate features upper ARCA Swiss standard dovetail with center screw channel and vertical lens support post system. Attach one 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screw to the bottom of the camera and position a vertical, 1/4"-20 rod post underneath your lens adapter.

The lower dovetail slot is ARRI standard, for attaching to ARRI dovetails or the included Quick Dovetail. With the Quick Dovetail attached, the baseplate and camera combination can be combined with an ARRI standard bridge plate, like the Quick Release Bridgeplate (19mm) or Quick Release Bridgeplate (15mm Studio).

The Complete Top Mount Kit (RED KOMODO) features a Top Mount that attaches to the camera body using two captive 1/4"-20 screws and provides a center ARCA Swiss dovetail clamping slot along with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 female threads for attaching accessories.

The included Top Handle slides into the ARCA slot and leaves the camera's control screen easily accessible. A shoe mount on top can hold on-camera lights and microphones, and the side 15mm opening can hold the included monitor arm or UVF Mount V2. It also features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 ARRI accessory mounts in several places and, a 15mm lightweight rod bracket in front for attaching lens motors, and more.

The Monitor Hinge can attach to the ARCA slot and provides a direct 1/4"-20 mount for SmallHD monitors. An included rubber pad can be added for attaching third party monitors. A 15mm mounting spud is included, allowing the monitor arm to be quickly released and attached to the Top Handle.

The Top Plate slides into ARCA slot to provide rows of 1/4-"20 and 3/8"-16 ARRI accessory mounts in standard spacing, and can be adjusted forwards to allow camera control screen access. Ideal for attaching to gimbal and drone systems or for using legacy Wooden Camera products.

The Battery Slide Pro Gold Mount (RED KOMODO) attaches to the camera's left side BP-9 series battery slot, providing power via a right angle LEMO-compatible connector. A thumbscrew can be loosened to tilt and slide the plate as needed. Three D-Tap ports on the plate provide power for accessories, which is monitored for over-current. If more than 5.8A are used by accessories, a digital fuse will trip and the red LED will illuminate while the camera remains powered. A reset button can be pressed once to restart accessory power.

DC Input on the right side of the camera can be used for hot-swapping between a block battery and onboard battery. While the AC adapter that comes with the KOMODO can be used, please note that it may not be powerful enough to sustain both camera and accessory draw.

If hot-swapping between a Gold Mount battery and BP-955 battery is desired, please consider the optional Battery Slide Extension for Canon BP-955 Hot Swap (RED KOMODO), which moves the battery plate further back from the camera body (sold separately).
