ARRI cforce Plus Lens Motor - Basic Set

The ARRI cforce Plus Lens Motor - Basic Set is strong enough to actuate the geared rings of any standard lens with very fast, smooth motion, and features twin LBUS connectors that allow up to (3) cforce motors to be daisy-chained in a row. With this motor, productions are no longer restricted to lightweight lens configurations on the ALEXA Mini, but can also build the camera up into a studio configuration with a larger prime or zoom lens.

The cforce Plus Lens Motor offers various rod-to-rod mounting options (comparable to those of the CLM-4 motor), including a Hill Bracket rosette, as well as the standard rod bracket for maximum flexibility on set. The standard rod clamp includes a hinge for convenient mounting when the camera is already built.

As well as interfacing directly with the ALEXA Mini, the cforce Plus connects to ARRI’s AMC-1 and UMC-4 motor controllers for camera-independent setups. It is fully compatible with LBUS-compatible motion devices.

IMPORTANT NOTE: LBUS motor cables are sold separately.

If you add an optional CMotion compact camin (C0J6-K10) you can incorporate wireless functionality to your cforce motors.

Software Update:

ARRI has released Software Update Packet (SUP) 1.2.3 for the cforce plus Lens Motor. This SUP adds the following new features and changes:

The cforce plus Lens Motor can be updated from external devices through its LBUS interface. The following devices provide update functionalities for cforce plus Lens Motor:
