The Panasonic LUMIX DC-S1H Full-Frame Mirrorless Camera is a full-frame mirrorless camera that delivers cinema-quality video, offering Full V-Log/V-Gamut with 14+ stops of dynamic range, 6K full-frame capture, 4:2:2 10-bit internal recording, Cinema 4K at up to 60p, and unlimited recording time.

Full Frame Sensor with Dual Native ISO

A newly designed 24.2MP full-frame CMOS sensor features Dual Native ISO technology, resulting in minimal noise and outstanding image quality across the ISO range. Combined with the Venus Engine, this sensor delivers a max ISO of 51,200 and Extended ISO of 204,800 for a cleaner image at higher sensitivities and beautiful rendition of dark areas in the frame. In addition, the low-pass filter helps minimize moiré.

Wide Range of Recording Formats

The Lumix S1H features a full range of recording modes, for everything from cinema production to television broadcasting, including: C4K/4K 60p/50p (in Super 35mm & PIXEL/PIXEL settings) 4:2:0 10-bit and C4K/4K 30p/25p/24p 4:2:2 10-bit. The camera also offers 6K/24p 4:2:0 10-bit in 3:2 and 5.9K 30p/25p/24p 4:2:0 10-bit in 16:9. An anamorphic mode in 4K is also available. 

4:2:2 10-bit Internal Recording & HDMI Output 

The S1H features a wide color gamut, recording C4K 4:2:2 10-bit up to 30p, internally. When 10-bit recording is selected, the S1H delivers 4:2:2 10-bit HDMI output, making capture with an external recorder possible. The 4:2:2 10-bit option features approx. 128x the information of 4:2:0 8-bit, and is capable of expressing over 1 billion colors. This is ideal for post-production adjustment of color.

V-Log / V-Gamut with 14+ Stops Dynamic Range

The S1H features accurate color reproduction, subtle gradations from highlights to shadows, and precise color control. V-Log / V-Gamma is pre-installed, resulting in footage that can be seamlessly edited with that of VariCam and other cameras. The S1H's dynamic range also covers the PQ requirement of HDR, while V-Gamut covers the full HDR color spectrum. Any LUT used is conveniently displayed on the camera monitor for realtime feedback on final output. 

Active Cooling for Unlimited Video Recording 

The S1H features a new body design with the world’s first active cooling fan in a full-frame, digital single-lens mirrorless camera, resulting in optimum heat dispersion. The fan produces minimal vibrations, with ultra-quiet performance, and the S1H body remains dust/splash resistant. The fan features four settings (including AUTO1, which starts fan after recording begins to minimize heat & facilitate longer shots, and AUTO2, which prioritizes quiet performance and minimizes fan usage).

The Fathom Camera Cage One is designed for mirrorless and DSLR cameras, such as the Panasonic GH5/GH5S, GH4, Sony Alpha Series, Nikon Z6/Z7, Canon EOS R, Fuji X-T2/3, Olympus EM1 II, and more. The cage provides multiple NATO rail attachment points, and both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 female threads. Secure camera attachment achieved via a bottom 1/4"-20 tripod thread and shoe mount (adjustable on 3 axes), plus repositionable anti-twist pins to accommodate a variety of cameras. 

Once shoe mount position is set for a given camera, the camera can be installed and removed from the cage by simply installing/removing the two included slotted screws (one on base, one on shoe mount lock). Mounting screws can be replaced with standard Manfrotto/Sachtler tripod screws if lost.
