GEN ENERGY 195Wh 14.4V Li-ion Battery - V-Mount

The shockproof and compact GEN ENERGY 195Wh 14.4V Li-ion Battery - V-Mount features a special algorithm to extend the life time of your battery. There are (2) D-Tap connection ports on the battery, plus a USB port.

This battery charges in approximately 5 hours on the optional GEN ENERGY Portable Battery Charger. Battery run time reduces when it is working below or above the recommended operating temperature. Temperature is lowered with no wires inside.

Charge

Charge the battery to full prior to first use. A battery capacity LED gauge button will turn on during charging once to indicate the capacity being charged. 

Due to the nature of Lithium-ion batteries, the manufacturer recommends you charge the battery prior to use, rather than charging well ahead of time, since Li-ion batteries have a slight self-discharge by nature.

Please store this battery in cool, dry conditions. Recharge the battery fully before each use.

Discharge

Be sure to remove your battery from your camera or other device after use. Otherwise it may consume large standby power and over-discharge protection my be activated.

USB is activated by pushing Battery capacity LED gauge button. USB power will turn on automatically 30 minutes after non-use.

Battery will stop at 12 V to extend its life. 

Please set your camera's low voltage alarm to 13-13.5 V.

NOTE: To avoid damage to the charger or a charging error in the battery, please do not use this battery while charging it on your GEN ENERGY Portable Battery Charger - V-Mount.

ALSO NOTE: Microwave transmitters with 5W outputs or over should be kept as far away from the battery. It may disrupt or stop supplying power.
