Quickly change camera mounts using this Universal Mount System (UMS) designed by IB/E for AbelCine.
The UMS is quick, easy, and made of precision-machined stainless steel.
The HDx35 Mark II, HDx2 Mark II, HDx1.4, PLx2, PLx1.4, and UMS Conversion Kit for Canon Cinema Zooms have PL lens mounts that consist of two sections, the Inner Collar and Outer Flange. To switch mounts, the Inner Collar is removed and the UMS adapter ties down to the Outer Flange, which maintains its backfocus.
A qualified lens technician must perform removal of the original mount, installation of the UMS Conversion Kit, and calibration of the default back focus position and zoom center access. Thereafter, UMS adapters may be switched in the field without having to reset back focus.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The PLx2 and PLx1.4 are compatible with all UMS adapters except for the Nikon F mount.
