5" SmallHD 502 HDMI & SDI On-Camera Field Monitor Kit

This SmallHD Field Monitor Kit will give you the monitor and tools you need to safely mount your 5" SmallHD 502 Field Monitor with 3D LUT Support and a Full HD 1920x1080p display. Kit includes a hot shoe swivel ball mount, (3) cables, a hard case for storage and travel, plus a few other necessities.

5" SmallHD 502 Full HD Field Monitor

The 5" SmallHD 502 Full HD Field Monitor features a 1920x1080p (Full HD) LCD display. The 502's LCD display is able to produce 85% NTSC Color Gamut (greater than the REC. 709 color standard), rivaling the color capabilities of OLED technology. It also includes 3D LUT Support.

The 502 makes signal processing simple. Using a custom-built processing engine, the 5" field monitor will accept nearly any resolution and frame rate from nearly any camera. Building upon the 3D LUT functionality of the DP7-PRO Series, the 502 will allow shooters to apply an even higher resolution and more accurate 3D LUT, in real-time.

Its size, weight and resolution make it an attractive option for DSLR shooters looking to attach it straight to the camera, while its robust mounting options and durability allow the display to be used on a gimbal or shoulder rig without adding bulk.

The joystick on the 502 on-camera monitor allows shooters to experience the flexibility of a touch screen display without all the downsides. An integrated joystick prevents smudge marks on the screen, camera jiggle during operation and reduces the overall cost of the device significantly. Customize the features you use most to include them on your User Interface on pages/screens.This on-set tool will help you spot-check your shot for issues. You can even zoom into the video while it plays, plus pan to view the action up close. Flexibility and ease-of-use are taken to the next level with the 502’s bluetooth remote. By mapping the physical interface and functionality of the 502's joystick to a bluetooth remote, shooters will be able to interface with the monitor without physically touching the monitor.

SmallHD Hot Shoe Ball Mount

With a payload capacity of 3.0lb, this SmallHD Hot Shoe Ball Mount allows you to securely mount your 5" SmallHD 502 Field Monitor onto your camera via the 1/4"-20 threaded mount point on top. The Ball head swivels to provide you with an adjustable position to suit your needs.
