Join us for Media Management, live from the comfort of your home, on the road, or anywhere. In this interactive session you will see the instructor and be able to ask questions. 

This class takes place on the Zoomvideo conference platform, which is free to join and easy to use. Instructions will be sent to you before the class begins. Once the class starts, you will see the instructor, the gear being used, and the instructor's presentation. You will be able to ask questions via a live, moderated chat. After the class ends, you will also receive a copy of the instructor's PowerPoint or Keynote presentation, and a recording of the class.

Media management is a core camera department function with specific duties related to the safeguarding of camera original files. In this course, we'll dig into the equipment needed, how the role collaborates on-set including responsibilities, and the technical info behind media devices. From having a system to keep fresh media available to camera, making verified backups and QC’ing footage, to creating reports and managing storage (and time), this class will cover the most important aspects of media management on digital productions.
