The Black Frost is primarily a styling or mood modifying filter, with a fine "black" mist (similar to Black SupaFrost & Black Promist). Depending on the value/density chosen, it subtly enhances a scene without degrading image quality or black saturation.
By solving the problems of excessive light scatter and veiling glare associated with similar filters, Schneider Black Frost filters make possible a higher level of control and convenience, without fear of having scenes appear "heavy-handed."
